Band of Brothers Ministry
Men banding together to free their hearts by taking the next step in their adventure with Christ toward becoming all that God created them to be.
Congratulations! By reading this you are taking the next step in your adventure with Christ. Simply put, Band of Brothers is the Mens Ministry here at FCC.
The main purpose of the Band of Brothers is to band together as men to take the next step in our relationship with Christ so that we can each become what God has created us to be.
How are we going to do this? First, we try to communicate what opportunities are out there to connect on a personal level with each other. Just like with the entire Body of Christ at FCC, you will only get as much out of the Band of Brothers as you put into it. And just like the Body of Christ, each one of us is important and we will not reach our potential as a band if each one of us does not contribute.
Second, we are going to evaluate where each of us is at in our walk with Christ. To do this we periodically distributed surveys to see where each of us is at in our adventure. Some of the questions give you an opportunity to express how you feel about the things we do here at FCC. We attempt to do these surveys every 6 months to track how we are progressing.
The final objective we have as the Band of Brothers is recommending specific weapons to aid us in our battle. Some examples of those tools may be retreats, seminars, devotionals, books, etc.
Our biggest challenge with this ministry is communication. There are many, many ways that we announce different opportunities to get involved. Some of those are COMMPLAN (our quarterly newsletter), The Messenger, The Bulletin, signs in the bathrooms, phone calls, postcards, personal handouts, e-mail, etc. Our main form of communication is the COMMPLAN distributed by snail mail and e-mail.
So, give me a call at (260) 824-8449 so we can get you involved. I am excited about getting to know you better and joining together with you in our Battle.
